I’ve installed a new progress bar plugin to show the status of my novels in progress. It’s called Pretty Simple Progress and I like it better than the last one I was using. You’ll find it on the blog page in the column to the right.
I’m also using a more extensible theme engine for WordPress. It’s called Thematic and it will hopefully let me build up a more interesting theme, once I figure out how to use it. This site uses a home or landing page with the blog being a menu item. I prefer this style as it lets me put up some basic announcements or other information on the home page. Most of my traffic heads to the blog page but new visitors often come to the landing page first.
I’ve also updated the Novels page to help readers understand the Starstrikers Universe and the books set in that universe.
