Model Mount Solved

Thanks to my good friend Bill Blohm’s suggestions on the last post, I now have a working mount for the GCU Sokol model. I used plastic end caps attached to the inside of the main tubes on the model and the base board. Here’s the mounted model and the big black dog. Two of a kind.

What? You’re not a dog fan, you prefer cats? Well, Yuki would not be outdone. Here he is posing with the model.

If you follow those links to the Google Picasa page, you can see more images of the mounts. But these two are more entertaining than plastic, copper and wood. Right? Thought so.

Now you’ve had your daily dose of cat, dog and model. You’re welcome.
