I’m using Beryl again on my Ubuntu box. I finally just got rid of the desktop selector and now use the mouse center button to spin the cube to get a new desktop. Sometimes you just have to learn new ways of doing old things.
My only beef with it now, is the limited window movement when you click on a window to slide it around. It seems forced and choppy. But I can live with it.
