Revealing a Crime

Another alternate beginning I have considered would be to have Joshua find the body and report it but nothing would be suspicious until a day later, when he was going through what Glenn had changed in his source code and then he finds the “Got You!”  This way, we avoid any meddlesome Police Detective suspecting that Joshua killed Glenn and we do not obligate Joshua into telling what he noticed until he’s sure about a motive and maybe has a direction to go looking for a killer.
Mmmmm, how would a dead man check in his code to CVS?  Easy, Glenn was hacked and the Hacker could do whatever Glenn could do on his system. Did Glenn type the Got You or did the killer?  Killer.  Got to have a calling card, right? Knowing that Glenn’s PC was compromised, lets you believe anything was possible.
