This was a short build, so this will only be two parts.

I ordered some printed modern pilots in 1/144 scale for inclusion in the Interceptor. This shows how tiny they are.
The final layout of the greeblies on the ship’s belly are shown here. Also the outline of the bottom of the head and the details inside the cockpit. The cockpit interior is painted Votainion Blue-gray. There is a square piece over the bottom mount hole and it has also been detailed.

The vents on the bottom are scratch built styrene. Many of the kit parts are from tanks and Ban-Dai kits.

The top of the model was scored in the usual fashion and a few smaller panels added in thin styrene sheets. The top fin has also added and detailed, complete with a top beacon.

The belly after a coat of gray primer. All the details seem to hang together in one of my better efforts of late.

The camo is basically German WWII Luftwaffe. I think it works and I kinda got lazy to do anything more original. The dark gray was I think even a German Tamiya acrylic color.

The model after weathering with dry artists chalk on a brush. Some white stripes were added to the nose as well as a black wash. All pretty standard stuff.
Here’s the model on the C-stand, that tragically led to it’s demise. Just as I finished shooting it, the gobo arm slid loose and fell to the ground, pounding the Interceptor into the concrete floor of my garage.

I’ll eventually glue this back together but for now, it’s job is complete.
