This week I’ve blown off lunches and exercising to work on the Tyrmia proof. Wednesday I finally set down the red pen and started entering the edits into the manuscript. I expect to finish it either tonight or tomorrow morning.
Then next week, Steve will hand me his copy of the manuscript and I’ll get to do it all again.
Needless to say, I have not been able to read other books or do any writing in the past several weeks. I’m getting sick of reading Ken McConnell. I always get sick of my own book at this point in the book production process.
I’ve read Tyrmia many, many times, forward and backwards and I’m pretty sick of it by now.
The stack of to-be-read books on my shelf is growing. So many of my favorite authors have put out books that I just don’t have the time to read right now.
Good thing about books, they don’t spoil.
I can read them at any time. I really, really want to read someone other than myself.
