We had our annual Boise Spec-Fic Writer’s picnic last night at member Stefanie’ beautiful home. It was a scorching 99 degrees outside but that didn’t stop us from having good conversations and enjoying delicious, member made food. This group has been around for a couple of years now as a monthly writer support system for Speculative Fiction writers who live in the Boise area.
At last night’s meeting I couldn’t help but wonder where these mostly unpublished writers will be in 5 or 10 years from now.
Will Boise be known for producing the next batch of creative Spec-Fic writers?
If so, these are the men and women who could be famous in their genres in the near future.
