One of my favorite short stores has never found an editor to love it. But on Scribd, it’s doing pretty good. It’s called “Red Allen” and it’s about a test pilot stationed on a snowy world where the extreme cold is causing problems for the newest starfighter to come into service with the Western Alliance. Set in the Galaxy Collision universe, First Generation, this gritty story is an homage to Chuck Yeager.
