My vanity plates came in today, so I put them on the new Honda. W0PHT is my Amateur Radio call sign. For those of you who didn’t know, the call sign belonged originally to my father. Too bad the State of Idaho does not use the symbol for slash through zero.
One thing I really like about Idaho Amateur Radio plates is that unlike true vanity plates, they cost no more than the regular plates. As I understand it, that’s partially so that in an emergency, emergency responders can quickly locate a ham if necessary for communications.
