It’s been a long, fun trip, but baseball season is finally over for my family. Jack’s team, the Bulldogs were taken out in the first round of the playoffs and they had their team party Friday night at the neighborhood pool.
Spencer’s team finished last week and completed a two day clinic on how to play at the next level, yesterday. About 40 Rookie kids participated in the clinic on Friday night and then played two games on Saturday. All the kids at the clinic had a great time and played some awesome AA style baseball. Kudos to the organizers, John and Scott and all the coaches and parents who helped out!
Our kids are on Summer break now and school, sports and Scouts are behind them until Fall. What lies ahead, are long summer days playing and some fun camp outs at area camps. We’d like to get to Bruneau Dunes State Park and check out the giant sand dune and the really cool telescope. Then we would like to make it up to Redfish Lake and to some local fishing holes. Good times ahead.
