Putty, sanding, primer and repeat.
This model has become a lesson on how to putty a model. Or perhaps how not to. I’ve purchased and used just about every kind of modeling putty made. I much prefer the water based putties mostly because they don’t stink nearly as badly.
The first attempt is splotchy and rough. Sanding ensued.
Still not completely smooth. More putty!
Now it’s getting nasty. Even more putty!
More sanding. Getting closer, but all the panel lines and rivets are long gone. Still not perfect by a long shot.
“You really do suck at this putty and sanding thing, don’t you?” Kara Thrace. Yup.
